Professional Driver Education
We provide a Department of Public Instruction (DPI) approved Driver Education Program to high schoolers throughout the state.
The health and safety of our students and staff are always our top priority. In response to COVID-19 we will continue to use disinfecting protocols and mitigation procedures for classroom and behind the wheel instruction as well as the parental agreement for behind the wheel instruction.
When a student completes the online course, submits payment for behind-the-wheel lessons, and is at least 15 years old, we will be able to issue the MV3001 form to obtain the permit. Please keep in mind that the permit is good for 18 months if issued after late July of 2021.
The consequences of distracted driving are on the rise,* creating dangerous conditions for every driver, passenger, cyclist and pedestrian sharing our roads. It's up to all of us to reduce these risks and there's no better time than Distracted Driving Awareness Month in April. Sign up now to join NSC for this important observance and we'll alert you as soon as your free materials are ready so you can make your plans for the month.
